Silver Sands Beach Resort - Key Biscayne

Old style motor court motel that's in a perfect spot. The people were so nice. We swam with lots of Cubanos and really enjoyed their zest for life.the pool and beach were just right. Also, the location was perfect to go see all we wanted.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay with friendly staff, and the pool was so inviting. Plus, being just about 500 meters from the fine Key Biscayne beach made our weekend strolls even better.

The huge pool was well-kept and enjoyable. Make sure to ask about beach access since it's a little tricky to find.

The pool area was great, but the A/C was exceedingly loud all night.

Direct access to an uncrowded, pristine beach made it easy to step out for sunbathing or a swim. The nostalgic vibe of the grounds, surrounded by tropical greenery, definitely added a laid-back charm to the experience.

The facility feels quite dated, with worn-out decor and furnishings that haven't seen a refresh in decades. The room had a heavy A/C unit that sounded like a freight train at night. Some fixtures throughout the hotel need repairs, like broken door locks and plumbing problems that detract from the overall experience. Linen quality could be better, as some looked pretty stained, giving off a less than clean impression. The kitchen lacked basic supplies.

The neighborhood is nice with plenty of dining options close by. The Standard Double Room was spacious enough for my family and was comfortable. The pool area was clean and well-maintained.

The breakfast offerings were limited and could use more variety.

I loved the retro vibe of this spot-it took me back to the 1960s 🕶️ The direct beach access made it so easy to soak up the sun without any hassle. Plus, the comfy kitchenette in our Standard Double Room allowed us to whip up fun family meals!

An Authentic Miami Experience

Charming vintage motel with a good homey atmosphere! The spacious courtyard room equipped with a mini kitchen was perfect for our family. Enjoyed peaceful mornings on our private patio surrounded by lush gardens. Tip, Take advantage of the large, clean pool, and don't miss the beautiful beach just a short stroll away.

You can't beat the location, just steps from the beach, and the pool area is great.

The room in the Silver Sands was definitely outdated. The kitchenette was handy with a fridge and microwave, but the cleanliness could have been better. We found a few bugs, and the drawers were kinda gnarly. The beds were okay for a night, but nothing to rave about. Honestly, we didn't spend much time in the room anyway since the beach and pool were calling. Just wish the inside matched the nice outdoor areas a bit more.

Good beach access and tv. Check-in was slow and staff unhelpful.
